COLLECT. SORT. DELIVER. SCHOOL SUPPLIES! RETURNS JULY 6-31
Every child deserves to walk into their classroom on the first day of school ready to learn. Unfortunately, for many families, purchasing school supplies has become an increasingly difficult expense.
That's why United Way of Greater Lorain County is once again inviting our community to come together for Collect. Sort. Deliver. School Supplies!, our annual school supplies collection drive running July 6 through July 31.
Throughout the month, local businesses, organizations, and community partners will serve as collection sites where individuals can donate new school supplies. Every notebook, backpack, pack of pencils, and box of crayons helps ensure local students have the tools they need to start the school year prepared and confident.
School supplies may seem like small items, but they make a big difference. Having the right materials helps students participate fully in the classroom, reduces stress for families, and gives children one less barrier to overcome as they begin a new school year.
The community can also take part by volunteering at one of our upcoming sorting events, where donated supplies will be organized and prepared for distribution to local schools and community partners. It's a simple, hands-on way to make an immediate impact while connecting with others who want to give back.
Whether you donate a few items, host a collection box at your workplace, or spend an evening helping sort supplies, every contribution helps ensure more students across Greater Lorain County begin the school year with the resources they need to succeed.
Together, we can help students start the year ready to learn.
