We recruit and train community volunteers to prepare and file federal and state income tax returns for low-to-moderate income individuals and families ensuring they receive every dollar they’re owed, completely free of charge. 

Through our Lorain County Free Tax Prep program, IRS-certified volunteers help taxpayers navigate credits like the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit, avoid costly filing fees, and keep more money in their pockets. It’s a trusted, high-impact service that brings millions back to Lorain County every single year.
