STEP ONE:

Download and print your gameboard below, or pick one up at any Official Location and collect Philanthropy Place (along with your first grand prize entry) by making a gift of $5.00 or more to United Way of Greater Lorain County!

STEP TWO:

Visit each of the featured locally owned small businesses to earn a sticker towards a property set. Each completed color property set earns you an additional entry into the grand prize drawing! Plus, if you earn the Community Space by volunteering with United Way of Greater Lorain County, you'll earn a BONUS entry! 

STEP THREE:

Submit your gameboard to United Way of Greater Lorain County by December 11th! Each gameboard could be worth up to FIVE entries into the grand prize drawing for $1,000!

OFFICIAL RULES

HOW TO PLAY
  1. Pick up an official Philanthropoly! gameboard from United Way of Greater Lorain County or any participating location.
  2. How to Start the Game:
    1. Participants must complete Philanthropy Place by making a qualifying charitable gift to United Way of Greater Lorain County which will be verified upon submission of any completed entries.
    2. Qualifying gifts include one-time, recurring, and workplace campaign contributions made to United Way of Greater Lorain County between September 1 and December 11.
    3. Workplace campaign gifts must be received or pledged during the campaign period to qualify.
  3. How to Complete Property Sets:
    1. Visit local businesses featured on the Philanthropoly! gameboard and make a qualifying purchase to collect their official property stamp.
      1. Each completed property color set qualifies as one official cash prize drawing entry.
      2. Participants may complete one, multiple, or all property sets with each completed set earning one additional entry into the cash prize drawing.
      3. No entries will be awarded unless participants have completed Philanthropy Place.
         
HOW TO ENTER
  1. Once you have completed Philanthropy Place and one ore more qualifying property sets:
    1. Take a clear photo of your gameboard and send via email it to general@uwloraincounty.org
    2. Mail your original gameboard to:

ENTRY DEADLINE
  1. All entries must be received by 11:59 P.M. on December 11, 2026
  2. Late submissions will NOT be eligible for prize drawings
     
ADDITIONAL RULES
  1. Only official gameboards issued by United Way of Greater Lorain County are eligible for submission.
  2. Only official property stamps distributed by participating locations may be used.
  3. Each participant may submit one completed gameboard. Multiple completed property sets on the same board will each receive one entry.
  4. Official property stamps issued by participating locations may not be transferred between participants.
  5. Lost, damaged, altered, or counterfeit gameboards may be disqualified.
  6. United Way of Greater Lorain County reserves the right to verify all qualifying activities and property visits.
  7. By participating, entrants grant United Way of Greater Lorain County permission to use submitted photos, names, and likenesses for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested.
  8. $1,000 Cash Grand Prize winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries and notified on December 14, 2026.
  9. Participation constitutes acceptance of these rules and all decisions made by United Way of Greater Lorain County, which are final.
