Volunteers Sort and Organize Over 10,000 Books for Ready Set Go

Ready Set Go received a ton of help labeling, sorting, and organizing over 10,000 donated books as part of a two-part volunteer project on Friday, July 27 and Saturday, July 28.

The '10K Books Project' included helping hands from HandsOn Northeast Ohio volunteers and the Lorain County Community Action Agency's youth group - just over 20 volunteers in total.

The books were sorted into two types of bins: one bin of 30 books to be used and stored as a classroom library and another bin of assorted books to be allowed for take-home use. At least 40 of each type of bin were created and will be distributed to different toddler and pre-school classrooms in Elyria.
