You can help local families, one item at a time.
Host a collection, join us to sort & inventory items, deliver them to one of our collaborative partners, or do all three!
Host a collection for one of our priority items at your workplace, storefront, or with your family! We'll provide a box, signage and messaging.
- School Supplies
- Tampons & Pads
- Work Clothes
Schedule a time for your group to join us at the Stephen J. Ross Volunteer Engagement Hub, where we quality check, sanitize, inventory, and package items to be distributed through our collaborative partners.
Help us bring needed items to agencies who will distribute them directly to families! We can arrange an opportunity for you to learn more about that agency and what they do to support the community.
*this opportunity is available on an as-needed basis.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will train and certify you to provide free tax help for low-to-moderate income families in need of tax preparation assistance. Don’t know much about taxes? Don’t worry—we walk you through a comprehensive & straightforward training – but the software does all of the heavy lifting. So, if you can use a computer, you can help local families by preparing taxes. We encourage all volunteers to train in at least Basic tax preparation, however those who are not comfortable with tax preparation after the trainings can still volunteer as a Greeter or Interpreter
