United Way Hosts Chamber After Hours

United Way of Greater Lorain County hosted the Lorain County Chamber of Commerce business after hours networking night recently in the Center for Community Transformation.

The Lorain County Chamber of Commerce hosts monthly networking nights throughout the county. In May, United Way of Greater Lorain County welcomed over 70 people representing local companies and organizations to their downtown Lorain offices.

United Way shared information on the current Broadway Streetscape project and their excitement for what the future holds for the downtown area. “As an organization that encourages collaboration, we see bringing people to downtown Lorain to enjoy the new streetscape and the surrounding amenities as our role in the revitalization of Broadway,” says United Way Executive Director Bill Harper.

United Way is doing this by opening their doors to not-for-profits, corporate partners, and public organizations and encouraging them to reserve their space for meetings and small events. For more information on community space use please click here.

If you’re interested in reserving United Way space for your next meeting or event please contact Robbi Goodwin at robbi.goodwin@uwloraincounty.org or 440-277-6530.
