THRIVE! and City Fresh Join Hands to Provide Access to Fresh Produce

THRIVE! Southern Lorain County is working with City Fresh to ensure area residents continue to have access to fresh fruit and vegetables while the Wellington Farmers' Market is closed this summer.

City Fresh, a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program founded in Cleveland 13 years ago, has added Wellington as a "fresh stop" along its healthy produce route.

Area residents looking to participate in the program have a couple of order options: a "single share" will provide produce for one or two people, while a "family share" will provide a larger quantity of fruits and vegetables for up to five people. Area residents also have the option to order shares week to week or for the entire season - from mid-June through late October.

Pre-ordered and pre-paid shares of fresh produce are available for pick-up every Friday (through October 26) from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the gazebo in front of Wellington Town Hall in Willard Memorial Square. The City Fresh order form can be found here
