OberlinKids Offers Digital Option to Families Looking to Complete Developmental Screenings

As part of their On Track for Kindergarten program, OberlinKids offers annual screenings to any child between ages birth to 5-years-old that resides in the Oberlin City School District. The developmental, social and emotional, play-based screenings are now able to be completed online by the child's parent or guardian, or with the OberlinKids Coordinator at either the Oberlin Public Library or the OberlinKids office (23 Eric Nord Way, Suite 9 in Oberlin).

The screenings are a way to give families an idea of where their child is developmentally and to provide them with the resources, activities, and other materials necessary to ensure their child develops in a healthy, positive manner and enters kindergarten ready to learn. OberlinKids has already provided over 100 online screenings in the last 6 months and the collaborative has found the online tool to be an especially convenient way for familes to complete necessary forms on their own time.
