Oberlin Kids Helps Oberlin’s Children get Ready for Kindergarten

Oberlin Kids is working to make sure that all of Oberlin's early learners are prepared to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.

Since being announced in 2014, the collaborative has completed over 270 screenings for communication, motor, cognitive, social, and emotional milestones - leading to earlier identification of special needs and improved outcomes. Over 250 adult caregivers - including mothers, fathers, grandparents, and other caring adults - have received services that support child development. The collaborative has also had 350 kids who have received direct services.

These results and more were shared with over 100 individuals at the Oberlin Kids Community Celebration in September. For more information and to sign-up for Oberlin Kids, check out their website here: oberlinkids.org
