Let's change the odds within education right here in our backyard.

As of 2011, children that start kindergarten in Lorain County's poorest school district from economically disadvantaged homes are half as literate as those starting their academic career in the highest performing districts (Ohio Department of Education, Kindergarten Readiness Assessment - Literacy, 2011).

We are partnering across the county to ensure that all children in our community can start school on the same page, no matter where they live or their financial situation and stay on track through their adolescent years.
