Common VIEW Middle School Students Increase Daily Exercise
Common VIEW, in partnership with Midview and Clearview Middle Schools, is seeing an increase in middle school students participating in daily physical activities.
Kids in grades 5-8 should get 60 minutes or more of daily exercise for maximum health benefit. The collaborative has implemented several strategies to help students reach that daily goal including walking clubs. At both Clearview and Midview schools, the percent of youth meeting the daily goal zero days of the week dropped by an average of 7% across the 6th and 8th grades.
