2-1-1 Connecting Low-Income Families with Free School Supplies

United Way of Greater Lorain County's 2-1-1 First Call for Help is making going back to school more accessible for low-income families.

Individuals can connect with 2-1-1 to find organizations throughout the county that provide essential school supplies at no cost for students who cannot afford to purchase them. 2-1-1 can narrow down the search for these services by showing options based on the individual's zip code.

2-1-1 is available by dialing 2-1-1 or 800-275-6106, by downloading the "211 Lorain" app, or through their website at: 211lorain.org

2-1-1 is a free, 24-hour information and referral hotline. Learn more on this Impact Initiative and our others here.

*Organizations who provide free, back to school services are welcome to call 440-277-6530 to add and/or update their listing in 2-1-1's database.
