Through a comprehensive community volunteer assessment, United Way of Greater Lorain County partners with 31 local agencies which deliver 54 unique, life-changing programs in Lorain County. This yearly assessment assures that each partner agency is delivering impactful programs in Lorain County and effectively utilizing funds contributed from United Way and non-United Way donors. Donors are welcome and encouraged to designate their contributions to these partner agencies.
Donors are welcome to designate contributions through United Way of Greater Lorain County to a favorite non-profit in or out of Lorain County, Ohio.
Donors may designate any amount of their contribution to a specific non-profit.
To designate to a non-profit that is not currently a United Way of Greater Lorain County partner agency, donors must supply information about the designated non-profit to United Way to verify the non-profit status.
